It is best to alternate tiles taken from various boxes to ensure uniform variability of the laid product. If the product has an irregular pattern, lay at random, i.e. the pattern should be laid in different directions.
How much space should be left between tiles?
It is advisable to leave at least 2mm space between tiles and 4mm on the outer edges.
How should the adhesive be applied?
To ensure adequate bonding, use a cement-based adhesive and apply to both surfaces, i.e. on the subsurface and reverse side of tile.
What are the most suitable tools for cutting and making holes?
Cutting/making holes depends on the type of tiles. In the particular case of porcelain tiles, which have low water-resistance and high mechanical strength, use a diamond disc/drill bit.
