Step by step guide to installing a shower tray

Assess the space and take accurate measurements

Repeat the process row by row and remove the spacers before the adhesive dries, within approximately 24 hours.

Cut and adjust any tiles that are uneven to ensure that tiles are properly aligned leaving no gaps.
Create visual harmony by strategically placing cut ends where they stand out the least, such as at the bottom of walls or in less visible corners. By the washbasins or windows, symmetrical balance with whole tiles on both sides enhances the aesthetics of the finish.
Using the right tools, such as ceramic saws, is essential for precision cutting.
Cutting by a professional is key, not only because of the skill required to use the tools, but also for guaranteeing that cutting in odd shapes and angles around pipes, baths or door frames does not become an aesthetic nightmare.

Touch-ups and finishes

Grouting and applying profiles

Spread grout onto the tile and scrape it into joints using a squeegee.
Clean the floor gently with a damp sponge and remove stains. Choose hydrophobic grout for high performance joint sealing.
For a professional tile finish, consider using a tile trim. Start by measuring and cutting the tile trims to size.
Spread the adhesive and push the trim into the adhesive; finally press down on the trim to fit it snugly against the top of the tiles. Allow to dry completely for the best adhesion.
