This contest is organized by Vida Imobiliária and Promevi. It aims to distinguish the best national urban interventions in renovation through the evaluation of several criteria: contribution to the qualification of the cities and their impact on the community: success measured by market acceptance, impact and social and economic value; and the ability to induce change in the urban fabric.
The National Prize for Urban Rehabilitation distinguishes the following categories: Residential; Commercial & Services; Tourism; Social Impact; City of Lisbon. The winning projects will be marked with a Revigrés piece affixed on the facades of the buildings.It will also be given four honorable mentions: Best Rehabilitation with less than 1000 m2; Best Restoration Intervention; Best Energy Efficiency Solution; Best Structural Rehabilitation.
The various entities and professionals that have participated in urban interventions in buildings or pre-built land and in restoration actions of buildings, in the last two years, in Portuguese territory can compete. Interventions that have participated in previous editions may not compete.
The jury members - João Appleton, João Carlos Santos, João Luís Correia Duque, João Santa Rita and Manuel Joaquim Reis Campos - will evaluate the candidates in the various categories.The winners of the National Prize for Urban Rehabilitation will be presented at a Gala Dinner held in the Lisbon Urban Rehabilitation Week.For further information: www.premio.vidaimobiliaria.com
